Dahlia Society prepares for upcoming plant sale

YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning Valley Dahlia Society will have its annual dahlia plant sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Davis Center at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek MetroParks.

Many forms of garden-ready dahlia plants will be available, from pom-pom to dinner-plate varieties. Society members and local growers will be present to assist with your selections.

Learn to grow and care for the dahlia plants at the society’s 2 p.m. meeting that day.

The MVDS is affiliated with the Midwest Dahlia Society and the American Dahlia Society.
