17-year-old Warren youth suffers chest stab wound
WARREN — A 17-year-old Warren boy was stabbed in the chest but received nonlife-threatening injuries and was treated at St. Joseph Health Center after a large fight on Milton Street Southeast.
When police arrived about 2:40 p.m. Friday, a crowd was gathered around the boy, who was lying on the curb in the 2000 block of Milton Street.
The boy said he got stabbed after three other juvenile males chased him with a knife. One of the three stabbed him, but he didn’t know which one, he told police.
The boy had a stab wound just below the left breast just under an inch wide, but the wound was considered nonlife-threatening, a doctor told police. The hospital had no record of the boy Monday morning.
Restroom peeper sought
BOARDMAN — Township police are trying to find the man who peeped at another man in a bookstore restroom while making noises of a sexual nature.
According to police, a 19-year-old man went to the restroom inside Barnes and Noble Bookstore on Saturday afternoon and, after sitting in a stall, noticed the man in the stall next to him peek over the partition. The 19-year-old then heard noises of a sexual nature coming from the neighboring stall.
Reports say the peeper looked over the top of the partition a second time and stared at the 19-year-old man while continuing to make the sexual noises.
The man told police he ran out of the restroom.
The peeping man could not be found but is described as between 27 and 36 years old, 180 pounds and more than 6 feet tall.
