Warren boy stabbed in the chest

WARREN — A 17-year-old Warren boy was stabbed in the chest but received non-life-threatening injuries, and was treated at St. Joseph Health Center Friday after a large fight on Milton Street Southeast.

When police arrived at about 2:40 p.m., a crowd was gathered around the boy, who was lying on the curb in the 2000 block of Milton Street.

The boy said he got stabbed after three other juvenile males chased him with a knife. One of the three stabbed him, but he didn’t know which one, he told police.

The boy had a stab wound just below the left breast about two centimeters in diameter, but the wound was considered non-life threatening, a doctor told police. The hospital had no record of the boy this morning.
