Trumbull County CSB foster parent recognition banquet is at 6 today

WARREN — Trumbull County Children Services will have its annual Foster Parent Recognition Banquet at 6 p.m. today at DiLucia’s Banquet Center, 2610 Elm Road N.E.

Fourteen foster families will be honored for five to twenty years of service. More than 100 persons are expected to attend this special event including foster parents, agency staff, board Leaders, and public officials.

For entertainment, the Foster Parent Association has put together a skit called “Change Requires Action,” which highlights a few of the numerous agency polices and Ohio Department of Job and Family Services rules that foster families must follow.

The guest speaker for the evening will be “Amanda,” a former foster child who will talk about her experience in foster care.
