We learn from our mothers

I have read nothing more inspiring than the May 2 column by Ernie Brown Jr., “From a grateful son to a special mother.”

He is honest and sincere, with a sense of true values and a courteous attitude toward everyone. This heritage was handed down to him by his mother.

He has gained respect from all of us who had the opportunity to enjoy his column.
