Appointed to board

Atty. Jack N. Alpern, with law offices in Warren, Boardman and East Liverpool, has been appointed to the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys Education Advisory Board. He lives in Aurora.

Alpern will help guide the direction of the academy’s continuing legal education department. He joins eight other attorneys from around the country as a board adviser.

Board members participate in setting the agendas for national conferences and play an integral part in the development of various educational resources provided to academy members.

A principal in the Alpern Law Firm, Alpern has been a member of the academy since 1993. He is a member of the Trumbull County and Ohio State bar associations.

The academy is based in San Diego.
