DelVecchio 60th anniversary to be celebrated in July

LAKE MILTON — On Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. John DelVecchio of Lake Milton will be observing the 60th anniversary of their May 13, 1949, wedding, which took place in Maysville, Ky. The couple are also anticipating a celebration of the event that is planned for July.

Hosts for the formal celebration will be their children, Frank DelVecchio of North Jackson, John DelVecchio of Newton Falls, Stephen DelVecchio of Lake Milton, and Ray DelVecchio of Spokane, Wash. There are five grandchildren and one great-grandchild in the family.

Mrs. DelVecchio, the former Betty Reeves, was a beautician and was employed at Packard Electric prior to retiring.

Mr. DelVecchio served with the US Navy aboard the battleship Indiana and was honorably discharged in 1946. He retired from the Neff Company in Canfield, where he was a service manager.
