Presbyterian church installs new pastor
WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. — The Rev. Jason W. Hickman was installed pastor of the Presbyterian Church of West Middlesex on April 5.
The Rev. David Dawson, executive presbyter of Shenango Presbytery, made the formal charge to the Rev. Mr. Hickman.
Other pastors from the presbytery assisted. Participating from the church were elder Bobbie Hunt, the choir and its director, Robert Malsom, and Tom Hunt, who played “Holy, Holy, Holy” on the trumpet.
Mr. Hickman graduated from Wilmington High School in 1988 and attended the College of Wooster, Ohio, graduating with honors in 1992 with a degree in English and religion.
He worked in campus ministries in the Erie before being ordained.
Mr. Hickman attended Princeton Theological Seminary, where he received a master of divinity degree.
He is married to the Rev. Lisa Nichols, who serves at New Wilmington Presbyterian Church, and they have two daughters.
