Park Vista resident marks 100th birthday

YOUNGSTOWN — The 100th birthday of Elizabeth Schwartz, a Park Vista resident for the past 17 years, was celebrated at 1:30 p.m. May 8 in the Arnold and Helen Stambaugh Lobby, 1216 Fifth Ave.

Friends, family, and Park Vista residents and staff attended the centennial celebration. The speaker was Catherine Hope, and a letter of congratulations from the office of State Representative Sandra Harwood was read.

Schwartz grew up in Trumbull County and is a member of First Presbyterian Church in Warren. She was a librarian for Youngstown Public Library for 18 years, and a cataloger at the Warren Public Library.
