LIBERTY — Winning pitcher Ashley Baron had four hits and drove in a run as the Wildcats clinched a tie for the All-American Conference White Tier crown. Baron had six strikeouts for Struthers (12-10, 6-1). Nicolette Demyan and Wyntre Wasilewski each had two hits with two RBIs. For the Leopards (6-6, 0-5), Melissa Dykes had two hits.

Lakeview 4, Hubbard 3

CORTLAND — Senior Abbey Bensing had 16 strikeouts and sophomore Mackenzie Palette had a two-run homer in the first inning and a two-run double in the second inning. Palette also singled in the seventh. Freshman Alexis Neumeister also doubled for Lakeview (9-7, 5-2 AAC White) while Angela Farone and Kim Lane added a pair of singles apiece. Sophomore Ashley Bone had a solo home run and a single for Hubbard (9-7, 5-3).

Champion 13, Warren Harding 0

WARREN — Morgan White pitched a no-hitter with eight strikeouts for Champion (15-4). White is 9-0. Haley McAllister rapped a three-run single while Alison Sorber had three singles and Taylor Petersal a double and single to also pace the Flashes.

Massillon Perry 15, Fitch 4

MASSILLON — Carly Ortz and Katie O’Loughlin each drove in two runs for the Falcons (5-11, 0-6 FL).

Howland 7, Niles 2

NILES — Jena Debiec tripled and doubled for the Tigers (14-6). Abby Nicolas doubled while winning pitcher Melanie Cope struck out nine and walked one in tossing a three-hitter. For the Red Dragons (8-13), Lindsey Dodgson hit a two-run double.

North Canton Hoover 1, Boardman 0

BOARDMAN — Alex Marcantonio’s fourth-inning homer produced the Federal League game’s only run. Alex DiDomenico struck out 12 and allowed only two hits for the Spartans (13-4, 4-3). Marcantonio had the Vikings’ other hit. Ashley Hall tossed a one-hitter for the Vikings (14-6, 5-3). Lizzie Padgitt had Boardman’s hit.

Lowellville 4, Leetonia 2

LOWELLVILLE — Stephanie Gruber had two hits, drove in a run and scored once for the Rockets (11-6, 6-5 Inter Tri-County League Tier Two). Winning pitcher Cori Pavlicko (11-6) had two hits and drove in a run. Teresa Sanchez had two hits while Gina Stoffer tripled. The Bears are 1-13, 1-11.

Springfield 3, East Palestine 0

NEW MIDDLETOWN — Erica Burkey pitched a two-hitter with five strikeouts for Springfield (14-5, 10-3 ITCL1). Erica Pitts’ single drove in two runs and Breanne Mincher had run-scoring single to also lead the Tigers. Rebecca Evans added two singles.

Mathews 7, Ledgemont 4

VIENNA — Julie Wise had two RBIs while Mackenzie Jordan and Autumn Timko each contributed a double and single to spark Mathews (7-10, 4-7 Northeast Athletic Conference). Brittany Schnarrs and Autumn Timko rotated as pitchers for the Mustangs, with Timko getting the win.
