Rachael Madden, Charles Slivkoff plan garden rite

AUSTINTOWN — Rachael A. Madden and Charles A. Slivkoff, both of 71 W. Madison Ave. B, Niles, are engaged and have planned a summer wedding, the Slivkoff family announces.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Robin Carlisle, 1933 Youll road, Niles, and Randall Carlisle, 1715 Sheridan Ave NE, Warren. William and Adriana Slivkoff, 3869 Crum Road, are the parents of the prospective groom.

Ms. Madden graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She is a teacher and aquatics instructor at the YMCA in Boardman.

Mr. Slivkoff graduated from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in general studies. He is employed by Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh as a senior systems engineer.

The couple have planned an open ceremony for 11:30 a.m. Aug. 16 at Kidston Pavilion in Fellows Riverside Gardens in Youngstown’s Mill Creek MetroParks. Invitations will be extended for their reception afterward in the Rossi Auditorium of the Davis Center at the Gardens.
