Police seek man who exposed himself to youngster

YOUNGSTOWN — Police are looking for a man who exposed himself and chased a 12-year-old girl walking to school Thursday on Glenwood Avenue near Rockview Avenue.

The man, exposed and performing a sex act, pulled alongside the girl. He was driving a maroon minivan with rust on the sides and asked the girl to get into the vehicle. The girl began running and the man attempted to chase her, police said. The girl managed to run to a friend’s house and the man left the area.

The man was said to be in his early 20s with reddish brown hair and missing front teeth.
