The operation of the Fisher House, a Ronald McDonald-type compassionate care facility, was explained by retired Senior Master Sgt. Christopher P.Z. Stanley, executive director for Fisher House at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, during a monthly meeting of Warren Republican Women’s Club.

There is no charge for families to stay at any one of the 38 Fisher houses in the United States.

As part of the club’s “Caring for America” project a donation for Fisher House was presented to Stanley by, from left, Hattie Hawkins, Peggy Boyd, Barb Walker and Carol Griffiths.
