Benefit dinner, auction

GIRARD — A spaghetti dinner and Chinese auction has been planned for May 17 as a benefit for the Taylor Veisz Memorial Scholarship Fund. Hours for the event are noon to 5 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 122 S. State St.

Tickets for the all-you-can-eat meals are $8 for adults and $5 for children. They can be purchased at the door or in advance by calling (330) 727-8490. Carryouts will be available.
