Work begins Monday on Columbiana Co. boat launch ramp

LISBON — Ohio Department of Transportation and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources will begin work Monday to resurface the parking lot and boat launch ramp in the Zepernick Wildlife Area in western Columbiana County. State Route 172 bisects the area.

The parking lot and boat launch ramp will be closed to the public Monday through May 14.

All work is expected to be completed by May 21.

The contractor for the $29,913 project is Joseph A. Jeffries Co. Inc., from Louisville, Ohio.
