Virtual public school

AUSTINTOWN — Ohio Connections Academy will have an information session concerning the 2009-10 school year at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Country Inn and Suites, 5570 Interstate Blvd.

Ohio Connections Academy (OCA) is offering parents in the Youngstown area the chance to learn more about this virtual public school. Session participants will explore OCA’s individualized learning approach, its curriculum, the technology-enhanced learning environment and the enrollment process.

The school opened in the fall of 2003 and serves more than 1,600 Ohio students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
