Someplace Safe needs community support

WARREN — Someplace Safe, Inc. is making a special appeal for funding in these tough economic times. As male unemployment increases, so does violence against women.

Someplace Safe needs community support to help women and children who are victims of domestic violence. It is a nonprofit agency and does not charge for its services. A reduction in services is imminent if the agency doesn’t receive financial support.

The agency is experiencing a 29 percent decrease in overall income and in increased need for services.
