Urban drama: Open auditions for actors needed for an urban drama being filmed in the Mahoning County area. Held at 5234 Southern Blvd., Boardman, from 12:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday. Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra. Auditions are ongoing for section strings (violin, viola, cello), substitute brass and percussion for the 2008-09 season. Rehearsals are 7:30 to 10 a.m. Thursdays at the Tri-C’s Metropolitan Campus Auditorium in downtown Cleveland. Audition requirements are one solo piece and one orchestral excerpt of your choice.
