Things are blossoming for NOAS

A spring flower sale is planned by Northeast Ohio Adoption Services as a benefit for children’s adoption. The event will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily from Thursday through May 25 at Hunter’s Square Plaza, 8700 E. Market St., Howland.

Among those participating in the event are Janet Weller, left, and Gere Weller, who are organizing community volunteers to staff the sale of hand-selected flats of annuals, classic perennials and herbs, and hanging baskets.

Orders can be placed in advance by calling (330) 856-5582, ext. 110. Proceeds will help NOAS locate and train urgently needed adoptive families.
