Mayor Williams easily wins mayoral primary

YOUNGSTOWN — Mayor Jay Williams soundly defeated his challenger Frank Bellamy in today’s mayoral Democratic Party primary election.

With all but six precincts counted, Williams has 88.5 percent of the vote.

Also, the Party Pantry liquor option was soundly defeated in the 5th Ward.
