Route 224 traffic pattern changes over Mill Creek

YOUNGSTOWN — Traffic pattern changes were made Saturday on U.S. Route 224 over Mill Creek. Route 224 is now reduced to one lane in the westbound direction and two lanes in the eastbound direction.

In addition, Pinewood Drive and the adjacent drive to Mill Creek Park at the intersection of 224 are both closed. Detours are posted. This work is part of an $800,000 project to replace the existing bridge deck on the Route 224 bridge over Mill Creek. The project is scheduled to be complete by late September 2009.
