Take aim on other killers

EDITOR:

It is a tragedy that Swine Flu is happening. Enough so that the federal government has declared a national emergency regarding the possible outbreak of major proportions.

I wish the federal government would consider declaring a national emergency regarding the outbreak of major proportions of the spate of killings that have been going on for years by the method of using guns, apparently any type anywhere.

I guess as long as it is only guns that are being used, it’s OK to have mass murders, but it is not OK to have a virus. A virus that can be kept from spreading by such simple methods as hand washing and other hygienic means. Are we a nation that has gone nuts/
