Surprise party honors Novosels’ 50th anniversary

HUBBARD — Mr. and Mrs. William I. Novosel, 3894 S. Main St., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary May 2 during a surprise dinner party at Julia’s Bed and Breakfast.

Hosts of the party were their children, Linda Novosel and Lorraine Novosel, both of of Naples, Fla.; and Robert Novosel of Orlando, Fla.

Mr. Novosel and the former Mary Ruzich were married on May 2, 1959, at St. Lawrence Church in Hillsville, Pa.

Mrs. Novosel, prior to her marriage, had been an administrative assistant for Haney Furniture Co. in New Castle.

Mr. Novosel, an electrician, worked most of his career through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 573, in Warren. He served in the Army and was stationed at Camp Sukiran, Okinawa.

The Novosels are members of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church.
