Children host anniversary party for the Balashes

HUBBARD — On April 18 Mr. and Mrs. Michael Balash of Hubbard were honored by family and friends as they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary during a party at The Gentry.
The couple were united in marriage on that date in 1959 at St. John Catholic Church in Campbell.
Hosts for the festivity were their children and their spouses, The Rev. Michael Balash of Champion, Dana and Kim Balash of Poland, Brian and Zina Balash of Bridgeport, Douglas and Melanie Balash of Hudson, and Melissa and Brian Shields of Hubbard. Rounding out the family circle are eight grandchildren.
Prior to retiring, Mrs. Balash was employed at Mahoning National Bank, and Mr. Balash was employed at Dial Finance in Youngstown. They are members of St. Patrick Church.
