In the second game, senior Amy Cornicelli (Howland) singled to left field to score sophomore Lis Schulz and Addie Parker for ghe game-winner. Cornicelli and junior Sarah Woodward led the Titans with two hits apiece as the Titans (17-20-1) outhit W&J, 11-9.

Bethany advanced to today’s championship game. In the opener, BC sophomore Cortney Newland (13-6) limited the third-seeded Presidents to two hits through six innings. She finished with three strikeouts and two walks. Sophomore Chelsea Butler (Lakeview) had a clutch two-out RBI single to left to give Bethany a 7-6 lead in the second game.

OAC tournament — Mount Union College advanced to the championship game of the Ohio Athletic Conference with a 5-3 semifinal win over Baldwin-Wallace. The Purple Raiders won their 14th match in a row, set a school-record for wins in a season moving to 19-4 overall and advances to play the winner of a semifinal between No. 2 seed John Carroll University and No. 3 seed Ohio Northern University this morning at 10.
MEN’S GOLF
OAC tournament — Mount Union College improved 40 strokes on Day 2 but it was not quite enough as the Purple Raiders placed second at the Ohio Athletic Conference tournament. Sophomore Lucas Murray claimed all-conference honors for a second-straight season as he finished in second place overall with a 154 (80-74).
