Parents announce Barillare-Monroe wedding plans

The engagement of Shannon Barillare of Canfield and John Monroe of 7498 Jaguar Drive, Boardman, is being announced by their parents.

William Barillare, 134 Lake Shore Drive, Columbiana, and Janet Barillare, 111 Creed Circle, Campbell, are parents of the bride-elect, and Dominic and Linda Monroe, also of 7498 Jaguar Drive, are parents of the future groom.

Invitations are being issued for the wedding the couple have planned for 2:30 p.m. June 20 at Western Reserve Village Church on the Canfield Fairgrounds, and for an evening reception at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Hall in Youngstown.

The bride-to-be is a family physician in private practice in Boardman. She earned a bachelor’s degree in comprehensive science from Villanova University in Pennsylvania and a doctor of medicine degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. She graduated from the Family Medicine Residency Program at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

The prospective groom attended Youngstown State University and is a land agent with D&L Energy Inc. in Youngstown.
