“Community Connection” (6 a.m., WFMJ-TV 21): The Youngstown-Warren Black Nurses Association will present the group’s 20th annual scholarship brunch May 9 at the Brentford House in Hubbard. Lynn Veal from the organization will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the organization, its special events and scholarship recipients.

Next, Julie Costas of Angels of Easter Seals will discuss the 32nd annual Spring Fashion Show along with models showcasing fashions from Dillard’s. The show features local media celebrities as models as well as child ambassadors from the Easter Seals agency.
