CLASSES

• Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1950 will meet at noon Wednesday at the Yankee Kitchen on Market Street, Boardman.

• Chaney 1942 January and June alumni will meet at 10:30 a.m. May 28 at the Croatian Home, 3200 Vestal Road. All classmates and spouses are invited, and no reservations are necessary. Call Ray Kinn at (330) 792-0750 for more information.

• Chaney High School January and June Classes of 1946 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m Thursday at Denny’s in Austintown. All classmates and their spouses are welcome. No reservations are necessary.

• Wilson High School Class of 1951 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s on state Route 224 in Boardman. Guests are welcome.

CLUBS

• Chapter CE of PEO Sisterhood will meet Wednesday at A La Cart in Canfield for a noon luncheon and meeting. A program on aprons will be presented by Janet Noel, and hostesses will be Joan Morrison and Betty Whitman.

• Mahoning Valley Cribbage Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at St. James Church, 7640 Glenwood Ave., Boardman. New players are welcome. For more information call (330) 757-9503.

• Park Visa Breakfast Club will meet at 9:30 a.m. May 14 at Park Vista Gathering Room, 1216 Fifth Ave., for coffee and a free continental breakfast. • Poland Center Homemakers will meet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Poland United Methodist Church for a casserole luncheon. Hostesses will be Betty Gulas and Mary Morrison. Members will decorate a flower pot and are to take glue, scissors and flowers.

• Seton III will meet for a social at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Holiday Inn, Boardman, where dinner will be at 6. Donations will be accepted for a needy family. Dottie Cerimele is chair for the event, and committee members are Mary Alyce Kinnick, Teri Laret, Ann Marie Morley and Margaret Mullen.

LIBRARY FRIENDS

• Friends of Boardman Library will meet at 9:30 a.m. May 11 at the community room of the library. Dr. George Beelen will speak on “Whatever Happened to Christopher Columbus Day?” No reservations required. New members and guests are welcome. Reservations are to be made by June 1 for a picnic lunch scheduled for noon June 8. The cost is $7, and checks should be payable to Friends of Boardman Library and mailed to Nancy Dunn, 1474 Walker Mill Road, Poland, OH 44514.

RELIGIOUS GROUPS

• McDonald Knights of Columbus will meet at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the K. of C. Hall, Illinois Ave.

• St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the parish house.

SUPPORT GROUPS

• Park Vista’s Low Vision Support Group will meet at 10 a.m. May 12 in the north lounge, 1310 Fifth Ave. The speaker will be Michael Bosela, director of Youngstown Radio Reading Service. He will provide information on the services and a special radio receiver available at no cost to vision-impaired listeners.
