Principal: Ohio third-grader’s ‘hit list’ found
HAMILTON, Ohio (AP) — A private elementary school in southwest Ohio has expelled a third-grader accused of making a “hit list” that included students and a teacher.
The principal at Immanual Lutheran School here told police the list was found in the student’s desk. A report was filed Tuesday.
Principal Michael Mayo says school officials don’t believe the people on the list were in danger, but that it is not acceptable for a student to prepare such a list.
Hamilton police say they are investigating the incident, but no charges have been filed. Mayo says the children and their parents were notified about the threats.
Mayo says the school has an enrollment of 125.
