Boardman Community Baseball opening day still set for tonight

BOARDMAN — Boardman Community Baseball plans to proceed with its 2nd annual Opening Day celebration at 6:30 tonight at the Fields on Dreams on McClurg Road.

More than 400 kids are expected to attend the parade and ceremony to kick off the 55th season of BCB. Awards also will be presented for the best team banners.

In the event of a weather cancellation, the ceremony will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday.
