Account opened to help cop hurt in fire

WARREN — The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 34 has established an account for Warren Patrolman Doug Hipple and his family at the Warren branch of Farmer’s National Bank, 2910 Youngstown-Warren Road, Warren, Ohio, 44484.

Donations will be accepted at any Farmer’s National Bank location. Questions concerning the account can be directed to the chief’s office at the Warren Police Department at 330-841-2536.

Hipple was critically injured trying to rescue three women from a burning house on Bonnie Brae Avenue Northeast early Tuesday morning.
