Sales tax Local collections

Sales tax receipts for January, compared with January 2008:

Columbiana County: $1.29 million, up 2.2 percent.

Mahoning County: $2.92 million, down 1.7 percent.

Trumbull County: $2.2 million, down 2.5 percent.

Ohio: $177.26 million, down 7 percent.
