Little Caesar’s Pizza to open in Boardman

BOARDMAN — Little Caesar’s Pizza will open at 66 Boardman-Poland Road across from the Southern Park Mall, Kutlick Realty said. The franchisee, Louis Achkar of Walton Hills, Ohio, plans to open in the second quarter of this year. He operates five Little Caesar’s locations in Ohio.

Hubbard chamber names new officers

HUBBARD — The following people were named officers of the Hubbard Chamber of Commerce for 2009: Ron Killian, president; Albert J. Sauline Jr., vice president; Amber Babik, treasurer; and Mike Holdford, secretary. The chamber’s newest member is Full Circle Florist, 436 East Liberty St.

Great Clips salon opens in Canfield

CANFIELD — Great Clips has opened at Westford Commons, 4259 Boardman-Canfield Road. The owner of the franchise is Floyd Crawford, who also has a Great Clips salon in Niles.

All services are provided on a walk-in basis, so appointments are not needed. The salon employs eight licensed cosmetologists who provide a variety of services. Great Clips, which is based in Minneapolis, has 2,800 franchised locations.

America’s Basement opens in industrial park

PYMATUNING TOWNSHIP, Pa. — America’s Basement Contractor has opened at 461 Second St. in the Greenville-Reynolds Industrial Park. The company specializes in basement waterproofing, foundation and wall repairs, mold removal and moisture control.

The owner, Carl Spigelmeyer Jr., is an authorized dealer for Basement Technologies, a waterproofing supply company. He received the territory for a large part of western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio and parts of West Virginia.

Library to sponsor investment programs

YOUNGSTOWN — The Business & Investment Center at the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County is sponsoring two upcoming programs.

Its Tour for Investors will be at 6:30 p.m. April 27 at the main library. Information about investment sources will be presented. To register, call (330) 744-8636 and press 2 after the prompt.

A remote tour of the Morningstar Investment Research Center will be at 4 p.m. April 29. Participants can access the training from any location using a phone and Internet connection. The database can be used to search for stocks, evaluate portfolio holdings and find analysis reports. Development corporation names officers for 2009

HERMITAGE, Pa. — The Shenango Valley Industrial Development Corp. elected the following officers for 2009: chairman, Richard Epstein, an attorney at Ekker, Kuster, McConnell, and Epstein in Sharon; vice chairman, Tony Zucco, area manager for Penn Power in Clark; secretary, Robert Wilson, Roll Forming Corp. in Farrell; treasurer, Dennis Lieb of Quaker Steak and Lube in Sharon; and assistant treasurer, Martin Gargano of Hill, Barth, and King.

Re-elected to the board for three-year terms were current directors John Fair, Martin Gargano, David George, Mel Grata, John Rademacher, Ray Slovesko and Robert Wilson.
