Woman faces charges of trafficking in marijuana
YOUNGSTOWN — A Falls Avenue woman is free on bond following arraignment on charges of trafficking in marijuana.
Jamelle L. Square, 34, of 450 Falls Ave., was arrested in her home around 4:30 p.m. Thursday after officers arrived with a search warrant.
Police said no one responded to their announcement of their presence with a warrant, so they broke in through the front door.
Officers said they found Square coming out of a second-floor bedroom and later found five plastic bags, each containing an ounce of suspected marijuana, and a black digital scale in that bedroom.
A search of the property turned up small bags of suspected marijuana and suspected crack cocaine in the garage, police said.
Square spent Thursday night in jail and was arraigned Friday.
