Man’s body found in Youngstown park

YOUNGSTOWN — Police are investigating the apparent homicide of a Bennington Avenue man whose body was found in Nick Johnson Park off Miltonia Avenue in the northeast corner of the city.

Marvin Chambers,35, was shot once in the abdomen. No ruling has been made in the death. An autopsy is being performed today.

Police said Chambers was missing since Tuesday. His body was found around 3 p.m. Thursday.
