Stambaugh youth band to present spring concert

YOUNGSTOWN — The Henry H. Stambaugh Youth Concert Band will present its annual spring concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave. Admission is free.

Senior soloists are Becca Porter of Liberty High School on flute and Laura Anderson of Boardman High School on french horn.

Conductors will be John Veneskey of South Range Schools, Steven L. Gage of Youngstown State University and Thomas A. Groth, retired from Boardman High School.

The Annual Barbara Armstrong Memorial Youth Band Scholarship will be presented.
