South Side man wounded by gunfire

YOUNGSTOWN — City police are trying to determine who shot a 26-year-old south side man.

Officers met Eric Fetty of E. Philadelphia at St. Elizabeth Health Center’s Boardman campus just after 10 p.m. Wednesday. According to reports, Fetty told officers he had been walking his dogs in the E. Philadelphia area just after 10 p.m. when he heard arguing and gunshots. He later realized he had been shot in the groin.
