Music students’ recital planned at Butler North

YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown Music Teacher’s Association will present its students in recital at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Butler North Recital Hall.

The following students will be featured: Jessica Wilk, Lauren Gabriele, Ryan Zarrinmakan, Zachary Smotzer, Lillie Bovard-Jones, Kellie Dunham, Grant Zarrinmakan, Zechariah Ciccone, Shannon McBride, Dena Tufaro, Kathy Quigley, Michelle Teets and Dominic DeLaurentis.

The following teachers will be represented: Cyntha Evans, Audrey Rhinehart, Susan Owens, Frank Tarantino, Carolyn Munro, Rick Barber, Dorothy Schwers, Thomas Miller, Helen Cline, Cristin Vimmerstedt, and Paul Rossi.

Guest soloist for the recital will be piano soloist Sonhwa Pong, who was one of the winners of the 2009 YSU-WMTA Music Scholarships.

The chairman of the recital is Paul Rossi and the president of the association is Cynthia Evans.
