Damascus Ruritan Club talks of upcoming events

DAMASCUS — At its March meeting, Damascus Ruritan Club members passed out posters, tickets and worksheets for the upcoming 44th Annual Spring Swiss Steak Dinner, from 4:30 to 47 p.m. Saturday at the West Branch High School cafeteria.

Advance tickets will be available at Damascus Hardware and Remember When. A sign-up sheet was passed around for those wishing to attend the Ohio District Spring Banquet on April 18 at the Amish Door Banquet Center in Wilmot. Dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m., and the program and entertainment will follow.

The group is planning to sponsor a communitywide rabies clinic from 1-4 p.m. May 17. Dr. Jack Zines will do the vaccinations. Profits will be used in the club’s youth programs, as requested by Dr. Zines.
