Yo-Mah-O schedules speaker for annual Recognition Dinner

YOUNGSTOWN — Sonja Williams, first lady of Youngstown, will be the featured speaker at the annual Administrative Professionals Day Recognition Dinner scheduled by the Yo-Mah-O Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals for April 22 at Tippecanoe Country Club. The organization’s Member of the Year will be announced during the evening.

A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in English, Williams serves as a student intervention and outreach coordinator with Youngstown Early College. She teaches and works with “at risk” students in the Youngstown City School District to prepare them for post-secondary educational opportunities.

“Turning Jobs Into Careers” has been chosen as the theme for the event, which will begin with cocktails at 5:30 p.m. and will include a dinner of Chicken Marsala or Swiss Steak Jardini ®re at 6.
