• Canfield Christian Church, 123 S. Broad St., will serve a Lenten breakfast from 7 to 9:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall. A freewill offering will be accepted.

THURSDAY

• Col. Louis J. Campbell VFW Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carry-out orders are $6.50 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

FRIDAY

• American Legion Post 290, state Route 14, Columbiana, will have an all-you-can eat fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost is $9 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Takeouts available. For more information call (330) 482-9657.

• Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. • Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pirogi for $5 a dozen. Advance orders will be taken from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday at (330) 746-9528. Orders should be placed early and are to be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday. The last sale before Easter will be April 3.

• Mineral Ridge Fire Association will sponsor a fish fry every Friday of Lent through April 3 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the fire station, 3588 Main Street. The cost is $8 per person. Carryout is available.

• St. Brendan Church will sponsor a fish dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Fridays during Lent (except April 10) at Maxwell Hall, 144 N. Schenley Ave., Youngstown. Meals are $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. • Lenten fish dinners will be served at St. Lucy Church, 394 Tenney Ave., Campbell, from 4 to 7 p.m. Fridays through April 3 at the social center. Tickets are $9 for adults, $8.50 for senior citizens, and $4,50 for children under 12. Takeout orders (adult size only) will be $9 each. Three takeout dinners will be offered as a special for $25.

• St. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman, will bake Italian-style red and white pizza. Phone orders will be accepted at (330) 788-0025 between 9-11:30 a.m. only. Pickup will be until 1 p.m. Price is $6 for regular or Brier Hill pizza, and $5 for white pizza.

• St. Maron Church will serve fish dinners from 3 to 7 p.m. each Friday during Lent at Antioch Hall, 1555 S. Meridian Road. Cost is $8 and takeouts will be available.

• St. Paul the Apostle Church, Main Street, New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi. Orders can be called to (330) 542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. The final sales for Easter will be April 3. There will be no sales on Good Friday, and regular sales will resume April 24.

• St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will have a fish dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals are $8 in advance of $8.50 at the door. Takeouts will be available. • Boardman Rotary will host its 27th annual pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the cafeteria of Boardman High School, 777 Glenwood Ave. Use Entrance Door 8 at the Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $6 for all-you-can-eat pancakes and a single serving of sausage. A pancake-eating contest will be at 3 p.m. Saturday.

• Braceville United Methodist Church, 577 Park Road SW, Newton Falls, will sell stuffed pork chop dinners from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Meals include mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, coleslaw, applesauce, homemade desserts, bread, and coffee, tea or punch. • The Gold Wing Road Riders, Chapter N, are sponsoring a spaghetti dinner and Chinese auction Saturday at the Sandy Lake Masonic Building, Main Street in Sandy Lake, Pa.
