4-H member named to Fashion Board

BERLIN CENTER — Hannah Shrader, 16, a daughter of Richard and Debra Shrader of Berlin Center, has been named to the 2009 Ohio 4-H Fashion Board. The board has 17 teen members chosen from county candidates from across the state. Their selection was based on clothing construction, fashion know-how, modeling skill and leadership ability.

Shrader is in her 12th year as a 4-H member and her third year as a member of the Fashion Board. She is secretary of Western Reserve Rangers 4-H Club. Nearly every year since becoming active in 4-H, she has represented Mahoning County at the Ohio State Fair, where she has received awards for projects, demonstrations, public speaking and for food and nutrition.

Shrader is also a 4-H state ambassador and has represented Mahoning County at State Leadership Camp, 4-H Sea Camp and Buckeye leadership workshops.
