Man, 19, dies in crash

ELKRUN — A 19-year-old man died in a one-car crash near his home on Elkton Road, about a half-mile south of Cream Ridge Road. Robert A. Myers was driving north on Elkton about 3:35 a.m. Sunday when the vehicle went off the left side of the road and hit a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident is being investigated by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Hanni to address Dems

LOWELLVILLE — The North Mahoning County Democrats club will meet at 7:30 tonight at the village hall. The guest speaker is Don Hanni III, a member of the Western Reserve Port Authority. He will talk about how the authority can help local communities.

YOUNGSTOWN — The Police and Fire Retirees of Ohio, District 2, Chapter 10 (Mahoning and Columbiana counties) will meet at 7 p.m. April 9 at the Brandywine Clubhouse, 3390 Flo-Lor Drive.
