Rescue Mission Plans 11th Annual Auction


LIBERTY — The Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley will have its 11th Annual Auction at 6 p.m. April 3 at the MetroPlex.

Rich Morgan from WKBN TV and Cindy Mathews from WFMJ TV will be the hosts. A silent auction featuring more than 100 offerings, restaurant sampling and a live auction will follow.

Numerous local restaurants, including the Blue Wolf, Charlie Staples Bar-B-Q, Cold Stone Creamery, Olive Garden, Springfield Grill, the MetroPlex, Leo’s Ristorante, Scacchetti’s, Quaker Steak & Lube, Mr. D’s Fresh Foods and Station Square, will offer samples between 6-8 p.m.

Clients from the Rescue Mission will share their stories before the live auction opens around 8 p.m. Items to be up for bid include overnight getaways, lunch with Youngstown Mayor Jay Williams, artwork, jewelry and much more.
