LOCAL TOPICS ON TV Sunday news program

“Community Connection” (6:30 a.m., WFMJ-TV 21): Warriors Inc. is an organization whose goal is to promote positive relations with the community and youth development. Wendy Robinson, executive director, will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss upcoming events, including the “Unity in the Community Parade” and health fair jazz set.

Next, Martha Bruce, a local educator, and Ode Aduma, retired local TV reporter, will discuss a book signing at the McGuffey Center on March 24. Bruce wrote and Aduma illustrated “Auntie’s Paint Brush,” which chronicles Bruce’s time with children in Africa.

Finally, Tom Molocea of Historic Images will showcase some interesting finds of historic Valley photos and share information about an unusual find on the city’s South Side.
