OUTREACH MINISTRY: Students involved in the Heartland Leo Club at Heartland Christian School in Columbiana have enthusiastically participated in a recently initiated Hand of Hope outreach ministry program. In conjunction with the program, they collect health, beauty and cleaning items on the second Monday of each month and donate the items to a local ministry. This month the items are being donated to the 4 C’s (Crestview Churches Community Concerns), a distribution center for those in need. Surrounded by several of the Leo Club members who collected the items displayed on the table are, in center back at left, Kim Langer, chair of the 4 C’s, and Olivia Test, president of the Junior High Leo Club. During the past two months, more than 500 items have been collected and distributed locally.
