Swieconka, a free Polish Easter traditions workshop and celebration, will take place at St. Casimir’s Church, 149 Jefferson St, Youngstown, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. There will be plenty of food, with a deli featuring imported kielbasa and other delicacies, as well as a bakery featuring kolachi, babka, Easter bread and cookies. Polish holiday decorating also will be demonstrated. To find St. Casimir’s (from downtown Youngstown), take Martin Luther King Boulevard (route 422) toward Girard; turn right on Superior Street (that’s where the Black Knights is) and then make an immediate right on to Oakland Avenue.
