Youngstown

City administration officials expect another down year for Youngstown’s 2.75 percent income tax collection. The income tax is the main revenue source for the city’s general fund. Here are the income tax collections for the past four years and what the city expects for this year.

2005: $46.1 million

2006: $48.7 million

2007: $48.3 million

2008: $47.9 million

2009: $44.2 million (anticipated)
