June wedding for Miss Meeker and Mr. Cooper

GIRARD — The engagement and plans for the upcoming marriage of Kristin L. Meeker and Jason M. Cooper, both of Girard, are being announced by their parents.

The bride-elect is a daughter of James and Cathy Meeker of Warner Robins, Ga., and the late Patricia Meeker. Parents of the prospective groom are Kathleen Cooper and Thomas Supko of McDonald, and Kevin and Linda Cooper of Cape Coral, Fla.

Miss Meeker, an assistant operations director with WRP Investments Inc., of Youngstown, will graduate next year from Mountain State University, Beckley, W. Va., where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance.

Mr. Cooper graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in education. He is employed as a teacher by Life Skills Centers of Youngstown

Invitations will be issued for the couple’s June 5 wedding at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park. A reception that evening will be at Mahoning Country Club.
