First-aid course for the family pet available in March at Mahoning Red Cross chapter

BOARDMAN — Throughout the month of March, the American Red Cross Mahoning Chapter, 8392 Tod Lane, is partnering with Angels for Animals for Red Cross Month in order to certify as many pet owners in the Mahoning Valley in pet first aid as possible.

This is an opportunity for you and your family to learn how to take care of your pets while having the opportunity to tour and educate yourself on the importance of rescue animals.

When you adopt a pet from Angels for Animals or from Mahoning County Dog Warden this month, receive a coupon for a discounted pet first-aid course.

The coupon allows new pet owners to take the course at a discounted rate of $20 instead of the normal $34 rate.
